I am fell off the wagon with my gratitude challenge so I have to make up for a few days!
Day six: I am grateful for the beautiful weather we have been having. We are finally getting some cool days, even made a fire one night. Its been a very warm fall so its so nice to start to wear my cardigans, hats, and scarves!
Day seven: I am grateful for kind strangers. I have had to be in public a little more than usual to go to appointments and to go vote and so many people ask how to help me. People give me pushes, hold open doors, uber drivers offer to wait for me so I can get a ride home. Im just always touched that people want to help and they do so in a way that never feels like pity to me, just pure human connection and kindness.
Day eight: I am currently laying on my mom’s couch watching the election and sweating bullets. Whatever the outcome (gosh what a rollercoaster of a night), I am so very grateful to have the right to vote and very grateful to live in a country where voting even occurs. I will so glad to see this election over with, its been so dark and decisive. I am nervous about whats to come but praying that no matter the outcome, things will be ok.
